PECB has completed its annual audit of Xait's Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001. We passed with flying colors!
ISO/IEC 27001 is the international standard that describes the best practices for an information security management system. Organizations that are ISO/IEC 27001 certified undergo an audit by an independent auditor every year to confirm that they remain disciplined and dedicated to information security.
Having certification in ISO/IEC 27001 is critical for a software vendor working globally with enterprise companies.

Xait has been ISO/IEC 27001 certified since 2016. In this way, we demonstrate our continued commitment to managing and protecting our customers' assets and data, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
That's why we're excited to announce that Xait passed the PECB's annual surveillance audit.
Xait's Operations & Security Manager, Roy Olsen, elaborates:
– After reviewing an extensive collection of our security controls and implementations, PECB identified no findings and no negative observations. This is evidence that Xait has well-established routines and procedures for handling and safeguarding sensitive and confidential data – including our customers’ data.

With regards to audited security controls, the PECB chief auditor ranked Xait among the top five companies in the Nordic region.
