In the World Economic Forum’s 2018 Global Competitiveness Report, Germany came top as the world’s most innovative economy, with a score of 87.5 out of 100 in the Innovation capability pillar. Still, the use of proposal software in the German business community is very low. Why is this?
99 percent of all German companies belong to the "Mittelstand," i.e. small and medium-sized enterprises that are mostly family-owned.
Of the world's 2,000 largest publicly listed companies measured by revenue, the Fortune Global 2000, 53 are headquartered in Germany, with the Top 10 being Allianz, Daimler, Volkswagen, Siemens, BMW, Deutsche Telekom, Bayer, BASF, Munich Re and SAP.
Only larger international companies like Siemens and SAP, have already invested in proposal software solutions or developed their own internal solutions.
The use of standard office software solutions for writing proposals is still very common in most industries internationally.
The changing work environment (remote offices and virtual teams) as well as rapid climate changes force us to work more together online.
Due to our local presence in Germany and with our international experience we can support ‘Mittelstand’ companies to develop their specific digital solutions for proposal preparation.
