Do you also have a passion for technology? Maybe you have been working with document handling in tenders or reports? Or maybe you just have a dream of becoming a great sales person selling amazing solutions? Well, you might be just the one we are looking for. Do not be fooled by the fancy title: Business Development Manager. This is a hard-core sales job, and it will take some time before you nail your first client. But that is ok. As long as you stick to the plan, commit yourself and do it the Xait-way, you will succeed.
What are we looking for?
We believe we prefer someone with a Bachelor degree and 5-7 years work experience. You might not have had any direct sales experience, again, that is ok if you can present yourself well and you possess good communication skills. What we need is someone with a hunter mindset willing to attack new markets and put XaitPorter on the map where it is not today. You should expect 50 travel days a year, so make sure you can commit to that. We also want someone who can grow with the company and help us continue to build a positive and energetic culture at work. It is of crucial importance that you are fluent in English, both written and oral.
Most importantly, what do you get?
You get to work with a company in growth that is expanding towards new countries and new markets within digitalization. You will be selling in Norway, other Nordic countries and maybe even Europe or Australia (not US, we already have a sales team there). As we said earlier, sky is no longer the limit. You will work with software experts, skilled leaders and owners. Your clients will be within oil and gas, IT or the Medical Industry (Pharma). Meetings with clients will be online or face-to-face. You will be trained by Xait’s CCO, Kris Sæther, in presenting and pitching XaitPorter. You will also report to Kris. You will sell from A-Z and you will be rewarded for your efforts when you deliver as planned. You will sweat, you will disagree with clients, and you will tell them if you disagree as well, and we’re sorry to say, you will have to deliver your newly signed clients over to Xait’s Key Account Managers. But this is only because you need to focus on finding new potential clients.
