22nd Licencing Round
When the application deadline for the 22nd Licencing round on the Norwegian shelf expired on 4 December, a total of 36 companies had submitted applications. The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate received applications for eighty-six blocks/parts of blocks in this round; 14 in the Norwegian Sea and 72 in the Barents Sea.
The Ministry of Petroleum and Energy decided to award 24 production licenses in the 22nd licensing round and issued a press release on 13th of June 2013. According to the release, 100% of the Oil & Gas operator licenses on NCS were awarded to XaitPorter clients.
