On the 26th of June 2012, the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy (MPE) announced the 22nd licensing round on the Norwegian Continental shelf. Eighty-six blocks/parts of blocks are being announced in this round; 14 in the Norwegian Sea and 72 in the Barents Sea.
In the 21st Licensing Round in Norway, about 95% of the applications written were produced in XaitPorter (see the companies that applied here). Xait expects a similar usage of XaitPorter in the 22nd Licensing round, with several new players starting with XaitPorter this year.
